Christmas ID

It's so close to Christmas break! I can't wait for school to get out. It looks like I'll be heading almost into Canada next quarter for college, so I'm excited to be reunited with my skis. There's some epic hikes not far from the college I'm attending, so I'm hoping to make some photographer friends and head out into the unknown.

I'm having my Canon 5D serviced... the mirror fell off. Luckily Canon had a recall on it, so I get a free repair and cleaning. Then I'm going to sell it straight away and buy the 7D. I honestly have no reason to play around with full frame, and I need the extra megapixels to blow up prints to the size I want them.

I really want to get better at photography. For me, the feeling waxes and wanes with the tides so I'm going to try and make the most of it while it's here. Going to print up business cards, finished my website ( www.joleenebert.com ) and am generally up to no good.

Anyone from far away want to chat? I want to make connections from around the world. Specifically Ireland? I'll be going there next summer and would love some photographer friends to fool around with.
